Hey Seth,

Thanks for checking this page out, here are a few ideas I have for you. You mentioned that you don’t have a lot of space, so I drafted a design that is a two in one project. A bench and a book case, it can be built with doors or without to show your collection.

I am excited to hear your feedback and begin working with you.

After you answer this questionnaire, I will be able to supply you with an estimate and we will be able to take our next steps toward booking your job in the build calendar. Currently booking for June 14th.

Thanks!

Nate

Seth Hubbard Book Case Build - Questionnaire

Steps to Expect When Going Custom

1. Design Consultation: This is your time to share pictures, questions, and ultimately the vision for your custom piece. We will then collaborate on the budget, timeline, and any fine details of your project. At the end of this meeting, you will have a chance to secure your spot in the build calendar. The initial deposit is 10% of the total estimated project cost.

2. Project Quote: After our initial meeting we will send you a quote outlining the scope and cost of the job. Going forward, 15% of the project will be required to advance to the next step.

3. Finalize Design: In the design process we finalize details that have been overviewed in the previous step. This can be done via online meetings, or in person, and we wont stop until we truly discover your vision. Lots of questions and inspiration are brought to these meetings.

This concludes the design phase, typically taking 1-3 weeks of communication for small - medium projects, and 4-10 weeks for large projects.

4. Build: This phase starts with a payment of 25% of the project cost. From here, your materials are ordered and the build begins.

Due to the range of possibilities your project timeline will be discussed prior to your build. Weekly or month updates will be sent, when your project hits the build date in our calendar. You will be notified of any changes to your start date. This can happen due to the custom nature of our projects.

Our goal is to give each project meticulous attention to detail, this is done best with a “one at a time” focus.

5. Project Completion: A small dance party may take place in the shop. Your piece will be delivered on the prearranged delivery date. Together, we will review your piece and have a brief exit consultation. The remainder of the total project cost will be due at this time.

Our work is built to last, and we are always available for maintenance and care.
